Apocalypse would currently consist of 1 type of shield for level 0 based that can be utilize on all heroes. For rare shields, there would be 2 type which are unique to certain heroes category. Mages would be able to utilize the Devlin shield while the warrior would be able to utilize the Medusa shield.
Apocalypse warrior and mage shield features!
The shields found in Apocalypse have been designed and hand sketched by our own talented sketch designer, Ubai. Because the game was modeled after the MMORPG game Helbreath, many of the mob characters will resemble those found in the original Helbreath game.
We are fans of the original game, and this pays homage to the roots of our game!
Minting shields NFTs will require Apocalypse (APOC) Tokens. The number of tokens required will be equivalent to $50 USD, regardless of the price of the (APOC) token. Players can mint any number of shields they desire depending on available space in their inventory slots.
That's right! Shields are compulsory to be equip before a player hero can begin battle, players will not be able to start battle without a shield.

Shields are meant to increase the defence of a hero, the higher the defence rate is, the less health point is deducted from every fight won. However, battles that are lost, players will still take full health point deduction according to the mobster level.
Shield NFTs must be stored in the players inventory (on-chain) and they must also be at full endurance before being able to post them for sale on the NFT marketplace.
Base Endurance : 1000 points Base Defence : 70 Points The Medusa shield, extremely rare and made out of iron forged with medusa elements. History has it, it was once used by a full hero warrior knight during the war of Druncan City.
Base Endurance : 500 points Base Defence : 1 Point The universal base shield is made out of iron and partial oak tree. It was found during the fight between the war of Gargoyles and got the drops from the Gargoyles itself.
Base Endurance : 1000 points Base Defence : 70 Point The Devlin shield, extremely rare and made out of pure beryllium copper. History has it, it was once used by a wizard that accidentally block the dark forces of the Devlin and captured the power of it onto the shield.ful magical wand.
